Availability
As a umpire, you must add your Availability to be assigned to games.
To do so, go to Spordle PLAY at http://play.spordle.com. If you do not have access to Spordle PLAY yet, we invite you to view the video Access to Spordle PLAY.
At the bottom of the page on the left, click on Availability.
You will add your availabilities under the tab Officiating in the Availability section.
At the bottom of the calendar on the left, two options will allow you to define your availability days and multiple slots.
Day: Allows you to select a single day or a sequence of several days of affiliates.
To select multiple days in a row, click on the first day you want, click on the Shift key on your keyboard, and the last day.
You can use this option if your Availability is the same for multiple affiliate days or weeks.
Multiple: allows you to select multiple days, but randomly and not consecutively.
After making your first selection of days, click Add Time on the right.
In the example below, we used the Day option to select consecutive days from December 1st to December 16th and the Multiple options to select the days of December 18th, 20th, and 22nd.
You have multiple options to enter your Availability.
All day: indicates that you are available all day for all the dates that have been selected.
Before: allows you to enter your Availability before a specific time. For example, you could enter that you are available to officiate before 6:00 p.m. for all the dates that have been selected.
Between: allows you to enter a time slot of Availability. For example, you could indicate that you are only available between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. for all the dates that have been selected.
After: allows you to indicate that you are available after a specific time. For example, you could indicate that you are available to officiate after noon for all the dates that have been selected.
You can add a note that will only be visible in the game assignments for the days you have selected.
Once your selection is complete, click Add.
Then click on SAVE FOR XX DATES at the bottom right.
The days you add Availability will be displayed with a green check mark.
If you want to make changes, you can click on one or more dates and click on the pencil in the green box to make the changes.
